Name: Thomas Gilbert II I've enjoyed art and just about all of its aspects since I was a kid. I've always been the strange, quiet guy who walked around with a pencil and notebook all the time. I grew up on Long Island, N.Y, graduated Highschool and moved on to major in animation at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I received my Bachelors in Fine Arts, then spent another two at the same college earning my Masters in Art Education. My main goal, after finding the work opportunities in Philly to be abysmal at best, was to move back to N.Y and landa steady job in the art field. Currently I work as a freelance Graphic Designer and temporary Art Director, but my true dream is to one day own and run my own company with departments that focus on comics, cartoons and toy production. One of the biggest joys for me would be to see my ideas take actual shape. I don't consider myself to really have any 'free time', as any time that isn't spent working on a job is spent working on my own projects. My poor video game systems have sat neglected for over a year now... I do however, take an ocassional break to go see a movie or eat out with friends every now and then. My t.v is almost always on cartoon network or any other channel playing something I like, as the background noise helps me concentrate.
